We’re so excited to begin rehearsals for our next production, Fings Ain’t Wot They Used T’Be which we are performing from 12 – 13 January 2018 at The Rose Theatre, Rose Bruford, Sidcup!
We would love you to join us on stage for this brilliant Lionel Bart musical based in the 1950s East End. The original cast, featuring Dame Barbara Windsor was directed by the iconic Joan Littlewood and won the 1960 Evening Standard Award for Best Musical!

All rehearsals take place in the music block of Newstead Wood School, Avebury Road, Orpington.

After last week’s auditions we are so excited to begin work on Little Shop of Horrors with our new cast!
All are welcome to come along and join Petts Wood Operatic Society for this great show in the chorus or backstage. Simply come along to a rehearsal! We rehearse on Tuesdays from 7:45pm – 10pm. Our final rehearsal before a summer break is on Tuesday 7th July.

Last night was our final Carousel rehearsal of 2014, with our cast singing through some of our favourite tunes from this fabulous Rogers and Hammerstein production.
We return to the rehearsal room on Tuesday 6th January 2015 at 7:45pm. All are welcome to come along and join us for these music rehearsals and to join the society for this show. With Director Christine Mabbott, Musical Director Louisa Lowing and Choreographer David Ball, Carousel is sure to be a moving and spectacular show for all the family and we’d love YOU to join us!
Whether in a main role, in the chorus or backstage in our technical crew, we hope to welcome many new members to PWOS in 2015. We are also excited to announce that Carousel will include many children, who are invited to audition on Sunday 1st February.
Membership per year is £25, which includes receipt of our monthly newsletter and participation in any additional events (including WEST END GOLD). There is then an additional £50 fee to participate in a show. Rehearsals take place at 7:45pm on Tuesdays (and some Thursdays) in the music block of Newstead Wood School, Orpington.

We’ve just finished a fabulous fun week performing Iolanthe at The Stag Theatre, Sevenoaks. A huge thank you to the audiences who came to support PWOS, we hope you enjoyed seeing the show as much as we enjoyed performing it!

It’s finally here! Tonight Petts Wood Operatic Society is proud to present the Gilbert and Sullivan classic comedy Iolanthe! Our swinging sixties twist on this hilarious show features fairies, peers and a dancing teddy bear! It’s not to be missed and we hope you can come along and join the fun.
